It’s not about pretending challenges don’t exist—it’s about reframing them in a way that propels you forward."

2024 Year in Review:

How Reflection Can Transform Your Life

As 2024 comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting on what has been one of the most transformational years of my life.

This past year, I accomplished more than I ever thought possible—both in my business and personal growth.

Reflection has been my secret weapon, helping me celebrate my wins, reframe challenges, and create a vision for the future.

If you’re feeling stuck, uninspired, or uncertain about where to start for the new year, this blog is for you. I’ll share my biggest lessons, my wins, and how you can use reflection to transform your life, too.

Why Reflection Matters

Let’s start with this: “The story you tell yourself about this year will shape the future you create.”

That belief has guided me through every step of my journey. Reflection isn’t about dwelling on the past; it’s about celebrating how far you’ve come, learning from challenges, and using those lessons to build a better future.

Before you dive into planning 2025, pause and take stock of this year.

* What did you accomplish?

* How did you grow?

* What lessons did life teach you?

A Year of Growth and Wins

Have you ever felt like you lived five years in one? That’s exactly how I feel about 2024.

This year, I:

  • Coached 142 clients across 373 hours.
  • Created 4 transformative courses, including Get Out of the Rut.
  • Hosted a summit for 500 women.
  • Let go of old money goals and created more balance in my life.
  • Focused on self-trust and self-belief, realizing “I am capable.”
  • These wins didn’t just happen overnight. They were the result of intentional reflection, hard work, and the support of my incredible mentor, Debbie Shadid.

The Power of Mentorship

Let me take a moment to talk about Debbie. She’s more than a mentor—she’s a friend and the reason I’ve been able to achieve so much this year.

Debbie believed in me when I couldn’t believe in myself. She saw the entrepreneur in me when my own limiting beliefs clouded my vision. That’s what great mentors do: they help you see your potential when you can’t.

If you don’t have a mentor, coach, or partner guiding you on your journey, I can’t recommend it enough. Whether it’s in business, weight loss, or life, having someone walk alongside you can make all the difference.

Reframing Challenges

This year wasn’t without its difficulties. I got sick more often than ever, and there were moments when I could have let that hold me back. But instead, I chose to reframe those challenges.

“It’s not about pretending challenges don’t exist—it’s about reframing them in a way that propels you forward.”

For me, that meant showing up for my clients with even more value and aligning with my identity as someone who over-delivers, no matter what.

What challenges did you face this year? How can you reframe them as stepping stones for growth?

What Do You Want More of in 2025?

When I reflect on 2024, one question stands out: “What do I want more of?”

For me, the answer is clear:

  • More time creating content that inspires and uplifts.
  • More coaching—especially pro-bono work for women who need it.
  • More solo adventures to reconnect with myself.
  • More connection with my community and family.

What about you? Take a moment to reflect on what brought you joy and fulfillment this year, and let that guide your vision for 2025.

How to Do Your Own Year in Review

Ready to reflect on your year? Here’s the simple framework I use:

1. Look Back:

How have you grown this year?

What’s different about you now compared to last year?

What were your biggest wins and accomplishments?

2. Reframe Challenges:

What lessons can you take from the difficult moments?

How can you use those lessons to propel yourself forward?

3. Dream Big for 2025:

What do you want more of in your life?

What kind of person do you want to be?

You Are Capable of the Impossible

No matter how 2024 felt for you, I want you to remember this:
“You are capable of creating the life you want—the body, the business, the happiness you desire.”

Reflection is the first step. When you take the time to celebrate your wins, reframe challenges, and set clear intentions, you’re creating a future by design—not by chance.

Let’s make 2025 the year you show yourself just how capable you are.
